Catering from the Bakery


Sandy’s Books & Bakery is a full service, made from scratch kitchen offering a wide variety of catering options. With 15 years of experience, we offer a diverse repertoire of food styles and dishes. We can help you with small intimate dinners or large gatherings. We can stay on site with buffet style service or arrange drop n’ go delivery.

We have a first class Vermont Department of Liquor Control license, and can serve wine and beer at your special event.

We charge a $35 delivery fee within Windsor County. $50 within 50 miles. And $100 to go beyond. There is a $120 base fee Wine/Beer service on site and a $20 hourly wage for staffed events.

Got Pie? For your next event, consider a PIE BAR, with an assortment of beautiful pies, complete with Strafford Organic Creamery Ice Cream. Sure to delight your guests! PIE IS GOOD.

Catering Options

Bagel Schmear
Create a self-service bagel station with our beautiful bagels, smoked salmon, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and capers. House-made fruit jams or savory spreads, paired with specialty cheeses are popular additions.

Breakfast Pastry Platter
Some of the many options to choose from include fresh muffins, scones, croissants, sweet or savory pastry swirls, granola bars, mini quiches, and coffee cakes.

This popular choice is a classic Greek phyllo pastry layered with spinach, feta and oregano, and cut in wedges. We also do a Rueben style phyllo pastry that people love – pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and mustard. Add a fresh green salad for a complete meal.

Sandwich Platter
An assortment of little sandwiches is always well received and can accommodate a wide variety of tastes. Some popular choices include turkey & cheddar, egg salad & tomato, ham & Swiss, cucumber with sprouts & cream cheese. So many choices - you decide!

Artisanal Meats & Cheeses
Vermont is home to award–winning cheesemakers. A rustic bread board with a variety of cheeses, homemade crackers, Vermont cured meats, and some fresh pickles is a beautiful thing.

Our meat lasagna is made with local beef and our house-made marinara sauce. We also make awesome vegetarian lasagna layered with spinach and mushrooms. Cheesy and satisfying, you cannot go wrong with this classic Italian casserole. Add bread and salad for a meal.

Chicken Pot Pie
Fresh chicken, peas, carrots, celery, thyme, and potatoes in a delicious gravy wrapped up in pastry – oh yeah! We can also fashion this dish in large pans topped with our homemade angel biscuits.

Make Your Own TACOS
Great for groups of all ages, make your own tacos is always a big hit. We make our own salsas, and use super fresh ingredients. Perfect for lunch or dinner, but we can also design this as a breakfast meal. .

Quiche & Soup
Sandy’s is known for our nutritious and tasty soups. Host a soup bar with a meaty chili, a creamy butternut squash, ham & split pea - the choices are endless! Serve with rustic breads & butter. Add a selection of quiches for a larger presentation.

Dessert Platter
We make beautiful and scrumptious sweet things. Our repertoire includes gluten free and vegan choices. Macaroons, classic cookies, layered granola bars, bon bons, chocolate dipped fruit, and cupcakes of all kinds.
